Every spring we receive requests for a survival kit that meets FAA & TC requirements for private pilots so we've taken our deHavilland Kit and added the necessary items to meet the requirements. We would also suggest adding signaling devices which would include Signal Flares and Smoke Signals. Due to HazMat regulations, we are no longer offering these products. But, you can find them easily at your local marine or boating store. The only items missing for Al-Can flights are a Mini-EPIRB and firearm.
